We are committed to making your cross-border shopping effort-saving, money-saving and free from worries in order to bring you value and meaning from cross-border shopping. On the other hand, it seems unreasonable and offensive for us to make some rules which are seemingly inconsistent with ShipNepal mission due to the policy restrictions and existing obstacles. We set the following rules for the time being for your serious consideration before starting business at ShipNepal.
1. On return of goods and exchange of goods
You can return/exchange the goods you ordered/sent before your goods being shipped out for Nepal when buying, forwarding or shipping at ShipNepal, but we don’t support any return/exchange of goods for the time being after your goods being shipped out of ShipNepal warehouse. The losses if any caused by inability to return/exchange the wrong goods should be resolved in other ways.
2. On additional proceeds when and after buying
Any additional proceeds generated from ShipNepal buy4me belong to ShipNepal.cn and will be used for its own domestic freight compensation and buy4me service fee, which are free to users/customers. These additional proceeds include membership discount, shopping festival reward, cash coupon, shop celebration rebate, consumption rebate, bulk purchase discounts and the like.
3. On item weight and chargeable weight
The warehousing weight of items will be the larger one comparing the actual gross weight (including the outside package weight) and the volume weight (cm*cm*cm/6000). When you apply for shipping, the chargeable weight will be the simple summation of the warehousing weight of items, although most of the outside packages of the items will be removed when we combine and consolidate your items, resulting in weight difference between the actual weight and our chargeable weight. The weight difference will not be taken as claim evidence (special cases excepted). As a matter of fact, we will pack your goods thoughtfully and professionally according to item property, transport suitability and customs requirements, and the packing material and handling fees which are free to customers are roughly enough to atone for seemingly extra charges occurred due to non-deducted weight of already removed item packages.
4. On insurance and refund
You can choose insurance or not insurance when applying for shipping. If you choose insurance, we will refund you the goods value you declared when you make a claim for item shortage, broken or missing, and refund you half international freight costs occurred. If you don’t choose insurance, we will not refund you or just compensate some as cold comfort once item shortage, broken or missing occur.
5. On time limit for claim
You should make claims and provide relative evidence within 3 days after receiving your goods when you find your items shortage, broken or missing. We won’t accept any claims beyond 3 days after receiving for the time being.
6. On transit times and delay compensation
In no case should the extended transit times and delay be the evidence for claims or compensation. On the other hand, if the transit times is over two times of the expected transit times, we will refund you accordingly after you receive the goods.
